Koderma police seize 4 wireless sets from naxal hideout

Koderma ( Jharkhand) : Koderma SP S K Jha, acting on a confidential information given by the villagers about meeting of naxalites in deep forest zone, rushed a joint team of police and Central Reserve  Police Force (CRPF) cops to the place and seized four wireless sets besides small electronic  equipment, other gadgets used in preparation of wireless sets  besides naxal literature from Rajbara forest zone under Satgawan police station area, about 39  km away from Koderma.

However, no naxalite could be arrested as the ultras got the wind of approaching police team and escaped into Nawada forest in Bihar.The place where  the wireless sets were found border  Giridih, Koderma ( both in Jharkhand) and Nawada, Bihar. The recovery was made on June 7  evening hours  under the guidance of Koderma SP.

SP Jha stated that the spot from where the recovery has been made is in a very tough terrain.“ We are keeping a close watch on naxal activities in Koderma and have even cultivated large network of  intelligence in rural belt from where we get regular information just like Greyhound in Andhra Pradesh,” said the SP.
