Kidnapped son of Patna property dealer killed, body found

Patna : Body of kidnapped Raunak Kumar, 14, son of a property dealer of Agamakuan, Patna, Sudhir Kumar, found in a shuttered shop in Bahadupur locality of Patna with his hands tied with a rope. Ranauk was stragulated to death. His body also bore injury marks indicating he was attacked with a blunt object.

Ranauk, a Standard IX student, was kidnapped by bike borne criminals on January 16, 2019, in broad daylight when he was going to school. The kidnappers had allegedly demanded Rs 25 lakh from his father for his safe release. Police arrested one of the kidnappers Vicky Paswan, 19, a neighbour of the deceased, on January 19. Police arrested Vicky by tracking the mobile number from the ransom call was made.Vicky said he had brought Raunak to his small shop under Bahadurpur police station area
