Marin Cilic, Kyrgios, Wozniacki enter 4th round of AO 2018

Patna : Number 17 seed Nick Kyrgios, 22, Australia, defeated Number 15 seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, 32, France, in a tough four set encounter 7-6, 4-6, 7-6, 7-6 in three hours and seventeen minutes at Melbourne, Australia, on January 19, 2018, to enter 4th round of Australian Open (AO) 2018. Kyrgios will next meet World Number 3 Grigor Dimitrov, 26, Bulgaria. Tsonga is childhood idol of Kyrgios.

Number 6 seed Marlin Cilic, Croatia, also entered the fourth round defeating  Ryan Harrison, USA, in three tough sets 7-6, 6-3, 7-6.

In the Women’s section, World Number 2 Caroline Wozniacki, Denmark, defeated Number 30 seed Kiki Bertens, Netherland, 6-4, 6-3, to enter the fourth round. Number 32 seed A Kontavelt, Estonia, stunned 2017 French Open Champion and Number 7 seed Jelena Ostapenko, Latvia, 6-3, 1-6, 6-3, to enter the round of 16.
