Sasaram : Uttar Pradesh (UP) police recovered a businessman, who was kidnapped from Rohtas in Bihar for ransom on July 29, 2019, from a village in Mirzapur on July 31, 2019. UP police informed Rohtas police about it. Rohtas police went to Mirzapur, UP, to bring the businessman back home.
SHO, Sasaram town police station, Rakesh Kumar Singh, said that a businessman Madan Soni had gone to Pachchhimi Pahadi area on morning walk on July 29, 2019, when some miscreants kidnapped him for a ransom of Rs 1.5 crore. When he did not return till noon, his family members searched for him everywhere and finally lodged an FIR with police regarding his kidnapping.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh police recovered Madan Soni from a house at village Matihan under Madihan police station in Mirzapur, UP. Police also arrested two persons including a woman from that house for interrogation.
