Kidnapped girl recovered, accused arrested

Ara: Bhojpur police recovered a kidnapped teenage girl from Ara Ramana Maidan under Nawada police station and also arrested her kidnapper Rajesh Yadav alias Kariya Yadav from Madhopur under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district on Saturday.

Police forwarded him to Ara jail and brought the girl to  Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination. Police will produce the girl before the CJM, Ara, to record her statement under section 164 CrPC on Monday. SHO, Jagdishpur police station, said that a teenage girl was kidnapped from village Babhania under Jagdishpur police station on July 18 when she was grazing her cows in the field. An FIR in this connection was lodged with Jagdishpur police station on the statement of girl’s brother.
