Giridih : Giving a slip to her kidnapers, a 16 year old girl fled from Katmandu in Nepal to her native village Handadih under Giridih Muffasil station yesterday late evening. She was, however, brought before the police officials concerned for investigation and later sent to Giridih Sadar hospital for medical examination on Wednesday afternoon.
The victim, identified as a resident of village Handadih village under Giridih muffasil police station areas in Jharkhand, was kidnapped by a local youth six month ago. She was a class ten student of a government school high school at Pachamba, about 5 Km from her native, at that time. In an FIR lodged with the Giridih Muffasil PS on December 17, 2015, her father, a famer, stated that his 16 year old girl was kidnapped by a local Auto driver and his close aide, who used to ferry the girl students from their village to their school at Pachamba. As usual, she had she left her home for school at around 9 am on December 14, 2015, but was kidnapped by a local Auto driver Anup Kumar Ram, who was already waylaying for her, the FIR reads.
“The victim revealed that she was confined to a building at Kathmandu in Nepal. Two days ago, she gave a slip to the kidnappers,” said DSP Vijay A.Kujur.
