Patna: The Special Task Force (STF) of Bihar police on Monday morning recovered five-year old Chhavi alias Rashmi Agrwal, daughter of a petrol pump owner of Katihar, from Biratngar in Nepal. Sanjay Yadav, son of a former MP Naresh Yadav, and his friend Sunil Singh were arrested from Katihar. Mithun Paswan and Awadesh Paswan, who had allegedly lifted Chhavi from her school van and took her to Nepal in a Bolero, were caught on Monday.
Bihar DGP P K Thakur while confirming the recovery of the kidnapped daughter of businessman Bhanu Agarwal said the police reached Biratnagar following surveillance of the mobile of one of the kidnappers.The mobile sim was reportedly issued in the name of a woman customer.
The girl was kidnapped from the van at Kursela in Katihar district. Police of three bordering districts of Supaul, Araria and Katihar were engaged in tracing the kidnappers since August 3. Chhavi is a student of B R School ,Katihar.
