Kidnapped Bhojpur girl returns home, narrates her ordeal

Ara : Police recovered a teenage girl from Shivganj Tola under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district on August 27, 2017, and brought her to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination.

SHO, Bihia police station, Bimlesh Kumar said that Rajan Kumar of Shivganj Tola kidnapped a teenage  girl of the same area 20 days back with a view to marrying her and took her to Allahabad in UP. A named FIR was lodged with Bihia police station against Rajan Kumar and others on the statement of the mother of the girl. The girl somehow slipped from the clutches of her kidnappers and returned home on late August 26 evening.

On getting information, police reached the girl’s from house in Shivganj locality under Bihia police station on August 27 morning. The girl narrated her ordeal to police saying that Ranjan Kumar promised to marry her and took her to Allahabad where he and his friends kept her in a room and raped her daily. She somehow escaped and reached her home. The SHO said that the girl was  produced before the court on August 28 to get her statement recorded under section 164 CrPC.

Lover Birds surrender : In another incident, two love birds reached Nawada police station, Ara, on August 26 evening under mounting police pressure and surrendered. Police took them under their custody and are interrogating them.

SHO, Nawada police station, Neyaz Ahamad said that an Intermediate student of Housing Colony at Chandawa under Nawada police station was missing since August 2016. She had gone to Ludhiana in Punjab along with her lover Harpal of village Mangrao in Rohtas district where they tied nuptial knot. Her grandfather had filed a named FIR with Nawada police station alleging kidnapping of his granddaughter but the girl revealed before police that no one had kidnapped her and she went with Harpal on her own.
