Kidambi Srikanth enters 2nd round of BWF World Championship

Patna : World No 6 in Badminton World Federation Rankings (BWF) Kidambi Srikanth, India, entered the second round of BWF World Championship at Nanjing, China, on July 31, 2018, beating Nhat Nguyen in the first round. Srikanth, the 5th seed, beat World No 87 Nguyen, Ireland, 21-15, 21-16 in 37 minute.

In the Women’s section, World No 4 Ratchanok Intanon, Thailand, beat World No 19 Mia Blichfeldt, 20, Denmark, in a three-set thriller 16-21, 22-20, 21-10 to enter the second round.
