Muzaffarpur : Swami Lingam, 36, an engineer working with Kanti Thermal Power Plant in Muzaffarpur district for the past three years, was found dead at his quarter at Kanti in the residential colony on February 15. He lived at the flat alone as his family stays in Tamilnadu.

Swami was a resident of Madurai in Tamilnadu. Police suspect he died few days back. The residents of the colony informed police after foul smell started coming out of Swami’s quarter. Police sent the body to Sri Krishna Medical College Hospital (SKMCH), Muzaffarpur, for post- mortem. SSP, Muzafarpur, Vivek Kumar, has directed DSP, West, Muzaffarpur, to inquire into the death of engineer Swami. SHO, Kanti police station, Sandip said there was no injury mark on his body.
