Girl commits suicide at pvt hostel in Patna

Patna : A young girl  Shivani, who was living at a private girls hostel at Musallahpur under Kadamkuan police station and preparing for competitive examinations including bank recruitment exams, committed suicide in her room on February 15.

Police reached the place of occurrence on getting information from hostel owner and took body under their custody and started probe into the incident. Shivani was a native of village Salimpur under Karauta police station in Patna district. The suicide came to light when Shivani’s friend tried to wake her up by knocking at the door of her room. Getting no response from Shivani, she informed the hostel owner.  The hostel is located in a lane opposite  Andhra Bank branch in Musallahpur.
