Kalraj Mishra appointed Governor of Himachal Pradesh

New Delhi : Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Kalraj  Mishra has been appointed as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh. Acharya Devvrat, Governor of Himachal Pradesh, has been transferred and appointed as Governor of Gujarat.

According to a PIB release, the President of India is pleased to make the following appointment/ changes: (i)    Acharya Devvrat, Governor of Himachal Pradesh is transferred and appointed as Governor of Gujarat (ii)  Kalraj Mishra as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh. These above appointments will take effect from the dates they assume charge of their respective offices.
