Motihari : Aditya Kumar, 37, JWO (Junior Warrant Officer) of Indian Air Force (IAF), posted at Amritsar was stabbed to death on January 7, 2022, evening, near Ghuswar Canal under Sagrampur police station (PS) in East Champaran District in North Bihar allegedly by some illegal country liquor manufacturers.
A profusely bleeding Aditya Kumar was rushed to Motihari Sadar Hospital by his father and some villagers where he was declared brought dead by the doctors . Post-mortem was performed by the doctors January 7, 2022, night, at the hospital. The doctors said the cause of death was profuse bleeding due to stabbing. After that,his body was taken to his native village Madhubani Tewari tola under Sagrampur PS.
Chandeshwar Tewari , father of Aditya Kumar, has lodged a case with Sagrampur PS against Sabbi Mukhiya, Munna Mukhiya, Shambhu Mukhiya, Brajesh Mukhiya, Upendra Mukhiya, Indal Mukhiya, and others, accusing them them of killing his son. He said that his son was posted at Amritsar Air Force wing and had come home on leave. Chandeshwar said that on January 7, 2022, evening, he was informed by some persons that around 10 bootleggers (Bhatti Wala) had broken the boundary made of bamboo of his land and were loading liquor drums on tractor on the road passing through his land damaging his Mustard crop. Chandeshwar said he and his son rushed to the spot and protested their activities. But, the accused attacked his my son, assaulted him, and also stabbed him. Aditya Kumar fell down in the field.
Chandeshwar said the accused are running illegal liquor Bhatti since last two years near his agriculture field and loading liquor drums on tractor passing throughhis land.
SDPO, Areraj, Abhinav Dhiman, and SHO, Sagrampur PS, Rajiv Nayan, who reached the place of occurrence, said that they were investigating the case and the accused would be arrested soon.
Two teams of Air Force officers from Darbhanga( Bihar) and Gorakhpur (UP) reached at the house of deceased Aditya Kumar on January 8, 2022, morning, and paid floral tributes to him. Abhinav Dhiman ,SDPO, and SDM of Areraj Sub -Division and other officials were present on this occasion. His last rites were performed on January 8, 2022, afternoon,near his village the presence of hundreds of villagers. They were demanding action against Sangrampur police personnel alleging the Bhatti was running in full knowledge of police..
