Patna : World No 48 Steve Johnson, 28, USA, won the Hall of Fame Tennis Championship singles title defeating World No 161 Ramkumar Ramnathan, 23, India, in the final on July 22, 2018, late night.

Johnson beat Ramkumar 7-5, 3-6, 6-2 in tough three-set encounter at International Tennis Hall of Fame, Newport, Rhode Island, USA, dashing his rival’s hope of winning his first ATP title. Ramkumar, however, fired 10 Aces in the match to just 1 by Johnson. Jonson committed 6 double faults in the match to 4 by Ramkumar. But, Johnson won 3 break points to just one by his rival.
