Sitamarhi: Properties worth more than Rs 2 lakh were stolen by some unidentified thieves from the houses of two school teachers located in Bhagwati Lane at Pupri in Sitamarhi district on Monday night. The stolen properties included jewellery and cash. The two teachers Rakesh Jha and Dhananjay Chaudhary had gone outside Pupri with their family members when theft took place. The thieves broke open the locks and entered the house. Their neighbours noticed the theft on Tuesday morning. The local police station is located just one kilometre away from the place of occurrence. Police are yet to make any arrest in this connection.
