Patna: Union minister of state and national president of Rashtriya Lok Samta Party-(RLSP) Upendra Kushwaha on Friday suspended its MP from Jehanabad Arun Kumar and MLA Lallan Paswan from the party and expelled former national general secretary Binod Kuhwaha.
According to Ram Kumar Sharma, RLSP MP from Sitamarhiwho heads the disciplinary action committee of the party, Upendra Kushwaha ordered suspension of Arun and Lallan on charges of anti-party activities on the recommendation of the committee.  Sharma said senior leaders of the party met at union minister’s residence in New Delhi on Friday morning and authorised Kushwaha to take action against the rebel leaders. The RLSP has three members in Lok Sabha,all from Bihar, and two MLAs in Bihar assembly.
On August 17, Arun Kumar had organised a conference of his supporters at S K Memorial Hall here and  expelled Upendra Kushwaha from the party on charges of dictatorship and got himself declared elected as national president. The two leaders are against each others since the Bihar assembly elections and had disputes over distribution of party tickets.
