Nawada: A complaint petition was filed in the court of Nawada CJM on Thursday against the Nawada DM, DDC, Rajauli civil SDO, the executive engineer as well as the assistant engineer (REO), CO (Akbarpur), by Krishna Balaabh Prasad Yadav of village Jogna under Akbarpur police station of the district.
In the complaint petition filed through advocate Sunil Kumar, Krishna Ballabh Yadav alleged that the officials had constructed a village link road under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna which passed through his two decimal personal agricultural plot without his permission and the officials paid no heed to his objections despite numerous appeals. He was also not given any compensation for acquiring his land for the purpose and that he was now reduced to a state of penury.
Yadav had approached Patna High Court through a writ petition in 2015 in which the court on September 23, 2015, had directed the petitioner to approach and appeal to the abovementioned officials for redressal within four months of the order. Accordingly Krishna Ballabh Yadav appealed to the DM on November 2, 2015, through a registered letter. He again approached the DM on May 19, 2016, at the Janata Durbar and then filed a complaint before the District Public Complaint Redressal Committee on June 16, 2016, but all in vain. Finally, having exhausted all legal channels, he filed a complaint petition before the CJM on Thursday.
