Patna : Deepak Kumar, 21, son of senior JD(U) MLA from Rupauli in Purnia district Bima Bharti, was found dead on railway track on Rajendra Nagar Terminal near Bhootnath Road on August 3,2018, early morning triggering speculation on reasons behind his death. It is not yet clear whether it is a case of suicide or murder.
Deepak’ father Awadhesh Kumar Mandal has alleged that his son was killed by his rivals who were also involved in murder of his parents in 2003. He also gave names of his five rivals in this connection.
SHO, GRP, Rajendra Nagar Terminal station, said that police found Deepak’s body lying on the railway track around 7 am. Police are investigating into the reason behind death of Deepak Kumar. Soon after the body was identified as that of Deepak Kumar, Rupauli MLA Bima Bharti and her family members rushed to the spot. The body was sent to NMCH for post-mortem.
