Patna: JD(U) state spokesman Neeraj Kumar on Friday demanded re-opening of Bharat wagon engineers limited’s Mokama and Muzaffarpur plants. In a letter addressed to PM Narendra Modi, Neeraj said thousands of workers were employed in the two plants. The government of India should invest funds to get the two plants re-opened, he demanded. Neeraj said since the PM was committed to industrialisation and creation of jobs, the two units should get attention of the Railway ministry.Land and property of the plants were handed over to the Railway ministry when Lalu Prasad was Rail minister.
