Patna : President of Bihar unit of JD(U) Bashistha Narain Singh on May 14, 2017, appointed Dr Ajay Alok as one of the spokespersons of the party with immediate effect. The state general secretary of the party Navin Kumar Arya issued a statement to this effect on May 14. It may be mentioned here that Dr Ajay Alok had been dropped as the party spokesperson just a few months back and was keeping a low profile since then.
