Ara : Vice-Chancellor VC), Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara, Sayyed Mumtazuddin, on May 13, 2017, appointed Prof Dilip Kumar Chaudhary of Sociology department as Head of the Post Graduate Department of Sociology, VKSU, on the basis of seniority under the rotational system with immediate effect for a period of three years or the date of superannuation whichever is earlier.
The VC has directed Prof Chaudhary to assume charge immediately. He has also been authorized to operate all the bank accounts of the department from the date he assumes charge as the Head of the Sociology department. The VKSU issued a notification in this regard on May 13 evening.
Earlier, the VC had appointed Sudhir Kumar Singh, Department of Sociology, Rohtas Mahila College, Sasaram, as the Head, Post Graduate Department of Sociology, VKSU, but he refused to accept the post.
