Jaitley returns to finance ministry

New Delhi : The President of India, as advised by the Prime Minister, has directed to assign the portfolios of the Minister of Finance and Minister of Corporate Affairs to Arun Jaitley.

Arun Jaitley was away from the ministry for three months due to a kidney surgery. He is expected to take charge on August 23 itself. Railways Minister Piyush Goyal was handling the finance portfolio in his absence.
