Patna : World Number 9 tennis player Jack Sock, 25, US, defeated World Number 3 Alexander Zverev, 20, Germany, 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 in a Boris Becker group match at 02 arena, London, on November 16, 2017, to move into the semi-finals of ATP World Tour Finals.

Sock from Kansas, US, was the 8th and last Men’s player to qualify for tour finale after winning the ATP Paris Masters event recently jumping 15 ranks in the ATP rankings. He is the first American to enter the semi-finals of the event in last ten years. Andy Roddic was the last American to reach ATP World Tour semi-finals.

World Number 2 Roger Federer, 36, Switzerland, has already  qualified for the semi-finals of the event. Federer has won all his three matches in Boris Becker group. From Pete Sampras Group, World Number 6 Grigor Dimitrov has already qualified for the semifinal. The other semi-fanalist from this group will be decided after match between World Number 4 Dominic Thiem, 24, Austria, and World Number 8 David Goffin, 26, Belgium, on November 17, 2017.
