Patna : Continuing her giant killing run, qualifier Ons Jabeur, 24, Tunisia, beat World No 21 Anett Kontaveit, 22, Estonia, 0n October 18, 2018, to enter the semi-finals of Kremlin Cup, a premier tournament on WTA tour. World No 101 in ATA rankings, Ons Jabeur upset Kontaveit in straight sets 7-5, 6-1 in the quarter-finals at Moscow, Russia.
Jabeur fired 9 Aces in the match to none by Kontaveit. Jabeur also won 4 break points to 1 by Kontaveit. Jabeur also won 5 games in a row to 2 by her rival. Sevastova and Jabeur will meet the semi-finals on October 19, 2018.
