Patna : Top seed and World No 15 John Isner, 34, USA, beat World No 110 Matthew Ebden, 31, Australia, in a tough three-set contest to advance to the semi-finals of Hall of Fame Open, an ATP 250 point tournament, at Newport, Rhode Island, USA, in the early hours on July 20, 2019. Isner beat Ebden 4-6,6-3, 6-4 in 1 hr 41 minutes in the quarter-finals.
