India score 172/7 against S Africa in 3rd T20I at Newlands

Patna : Asked to bat first by South Africa, who won the toss, India made 172/7 in 20 overs in the third T20I at Newlands, Capetown, South Africa, on February 24, 2018, with 0pener  Shikhar Dhawan scoring 47 ( run out) in 40 balls hitting 3 fours and Suresh Raina scoring 43 in 27 balls hitting 5 fours and a six.

Stand in Captain and opener Rohit Sharma was out for 11 in 8 balls hitting 2 fours while Manish Pandey was out for 13 in 10 balls hitting a six. Wicktkeeper M S Dhoni was out for 12 in 11 balls. Sharma again fell to Junior Dala, who has taken his wicket in all three T20I. Hardik Pandya made 21 in 17 balls hitting a six. Dinesh Kartik scored 13 in 6 balls hitting 3 fours. Axar Patel remained not out on 1 while Bhuvaneshwar Kumar was 3 not out.

For South Africa, Junior Dala took 3/35 in 4 overs taking the wickets of Sharma, Manish Pandey and Dhoni. Tabraiz Shamsi took 1/31 in 4 overs. Chris Morris took 2/43 taking the wickets of Pandya and Dinesh Karthik.
