New Delhi : India reported 14,306 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours, down from 15,906 cases on October 24, 2021. less than 50,000 Daily New Cases have been reported for 120 consecutive days now.
On the other hand, a total of 18,762 Covid-19 patients ere declared cured / discharged in India in last 24 hours, up from 16,479 recoveries on October 24, 2021, taking the cumulative tally of recoveries tosince the beginning of the pandemic to 3,35,67,367 on October 25, 2021. India’s recovery rate stands at 98.18%, at its highest peak since March 2020, according to Union Health Ministry figure.
The Active Caseload remains below 2 lakh mark and dropped to 1,67,695 on October 25 from 1,72,594 on October 24, 2021. It is the lowest in 239 days. Active cases accounted for 0.49% of the country’s total Positive Cases on October 25, 2021, the lowest since March 2020.
With the administration of 12,30,720 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage exceeded 102.27 crore (1,02,27,12,895) as per provisional reports till 7 am on October 25, 2021. This has been achieved through 1,01,52,393 sessions.
The last 24 hours saw a total of 9,98,397 sample tests being conducted in the country. India has so far conducted over 60.07 crore (60,07,69,717) cumulative tests.
The Weekly Positivity Rate at 1.24% remains less than 2% for the last 31 days now. The Daily Positivity rate was 1.43% on October 25, 2021. The daily Positivity rate has remained below 2% for last 21 days and below 3% for 56 consecutive days now.
