Patna : Asked to bat first, India made 337/6 in 50 overs in the third ODI against New Zealand at Green Park, Kanpur, on October 29, 2017, with opener Rohit Sharma cracking 147 in 138 balls and skipper Virat Kohli 113 in 106 balls. It was Kohli’s 32nd and Rohit’s 15th century in th ODI.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were involved in a 230 run partnership after the fall of opener Shikhar Dhawan’s wicket at 29. Dhawan, who had made 68 in the second ODI at Pune fell for 14. M S Dhoni made 25 and Kedar Jadhav scored 18. Hardik Pandya fell for 8. Dinesh Kartik remained unbeaten on four.

For New Zealand, Tim Southee took 2/66 in 10 overs while AdamMilne took 2/64 in 10 overs. Trent Boult again went wicketless giving away 81 runs in 10 overs. He had also gone wicketless in the second ODI too. M Santner took 2/58 in ten overs.
