Patna : India made 289/7 in 50 overs against South Africa in the fourth ODI at Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg, South Africa, on February 10, 2018, riding on a fluent 109, his 13th ODI ton in his 100th ODI, in 105 balls by opener Shikhar Dhawan and equally brilliant 75 in 83 balls by Captain Virat Kohli. Dhawan and Kohli were involved in a 158 run partnership for the second wickets. Dhawan hit 10 fours and 2 sixes while Kohli hit 7 fours and a six.

Wicketkeeper M S Dhoni remained unbeaten on 42 in 43 balls hitting 3 fours and a six. Shreyas Iyer made 18, Ajinkya Rahane 8, Hardik Pandya 9 and Bhuvaneshwar Prasad 5 runs. Opener Rohit Sharma’s poor form continues as he was out for 5 to Kagiso Rabada. For South Africa, Kagiso Rabada and Lungisani Ngidi took two wickets each. Morne Morkel and Chris Norris took one wicket each. Bhuvaneshwar Prasad was run out.

India won the toss and elected to bat first.
