Patna : India were all out for 474 in 104.5 overs in the one off cricket test against Afghanistan at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, before lunch on day 2 on June 15, 2018, with all -rounder Hardik Pandya soring 71 in 94 ball with 10 fours, his second test fifty. Fast bowler Umesh Yadav remained unbeaten on 26 in 21 ball with 2 fours and 2 sixes. Yadav and Ishant Sharma were involved in a 34 run stand for the 10th wicket. Sharma scored 8 runs.

Resuming at their overnight score of 347/6 in 78 overs with Hardik Pandya batting on 10 and Ravichandra Ashwin unbeaten on 7, India lost the wicket of Ashwin when the score was 369. Ashwin fell to pacer Yamin Ahmadzai for 18. Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja  were then involved in 67 run partnership for the 8th wicket. Jadeja fell to spinner Mohammad Nabi, 33, after scoring 20. Pandya’s was the 9th wicket to fall when the team score was 440.

For Afghanistan, pacer Ahmadzai took 3/51 while Wafadar took 2/100. Spin sensation Rashid Khan took 2/154.Mohammad Nabi and Mujeeb Ur Rahman took onewicket each
