Patna : India were all out for 292 runs in their first innings 15 overs after lunch on day 3 of the 5th cricket test against England at Kennington Oval, London, on September 9, 2018, trailing by 40 runs. Allrounder Ravindra Jadeja remained unbeaten on 86 with 11 fours and a six. Jadeja hit a huge six off James Anderson. He added 32 runs with Jasprit Bumrah for the 10th wicket. Jadeja had also taken 4 wickets in England’s first innings

Resuming at their overnight score of 174/6, India added 118 runs to their score. Hanuma Vihari made 56 with 7 fours and a six. England had scored 332 runs in their first innings.
