Patna : India scored 344/3 at stumps on the first day of first cricket test against Sri Lanka at Colombo on August 3, 2017, with Chetswar Pujara unbeaten on 128 and Ajinkya Rahane 103 not out at the crease. It was Pujara’s 13th test century. He had also scored over hundred in the first test at Galle which India had won defeating Sri Lanka by 304 runs. As far Rahane goes, it was his 9th test century. Skipper Virat Kohli could score only 13. Pujara became seventh IndianĀ  batsman to score hundred in is 50th test.
