Patna : Captain Virat Kohli scored his third consecutive century in the 3rd ODI against West Indies at Pune, Maharashtra, on October 27, 2018. Continuing his amazing run in the on going 5-match ODI series, Kohli scored his 38th ODI century hitting 10 fours and a six. Sachin Tendulkar has scored 49 ODI centuries.

Chasing a target of 284, India were 222/7 after 42 over still needing 62 runs to win the match. Kohli fell to Marlon Samuels for on 107 in 42nd over. Kuldeep Yadav batting on 3 and Yuzvendra Chahal was batting on 1.

Openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan scored 8 and 35 runs respectively. Dhawan and Kohli added 79 runs for the second wicket. Ambati Rayudu fell to pacer Obed McCoy for 22 with 2 fours while Rishabh Pant fell to spinner Ashley Nurse for 24 with 3 fours and a six. McCoy also accounted for Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, who made 10.
