Patna : India were 199/1 after 69 overs at tea on Day 3 in their second innings in 4th test against England at Kennington Oval, London, UK, on September 4, 2021, night opener Rohit Sharma scored a unbeaten brilliant century, his first century in tests overseas and 8th overall. Rohit reached his century by hitting a six off off spinner Moeen Ali. India lead by 100 runs.
At tea, Rohit was batting on 103 in 218 balls with 12 fours and 1 six while Cheteshwar Pujjara was unbeaten on 48 in 97 balls with 7 fours. Rohit and Pujara have so far added 116 runs in their unbroken partnership for the second wicket.
