Patna : Opener Mayank Agarwal was unbeaten on 91 in 166 balls with 13 fours and six as India reached 188/3 in 54 overs at lunch in their first innings on Day 2 in the 1st Test against Bangladesh at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore, MP, on November 15, 2019.

Resuming at their overnight score of 86/1, India lost the wicket of Cheterwar Pujara at 105 and that of captain Virat Kohli at 119. Pujara fell to Abu Jayed for 54 in 72 balls with 9 fours. Kohli also fell to Jayed for a duck, his 10th in test matches. Agarwal and Ajinkya Rahane have so far added 69 runs in 134 balls for the 4th wicket in their unbroken partnership. Rahane is unbeaten on 35 in 72 balls hitting 5 fours.  He has completed 4,000 runs in tests.

For Bangladesh, medium fast bowler Abu Jayed has taken 3/58 in 13 overs. He had also accounted for opener Rohit Sharma on Day1.
