Patna : India were 134/4 after 47.2 overs in their first innings at tea on Day 1 of 1st Test against West Indies (WI) at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua, on August 22, 2019, night with Ajinkya Rahane batting on 50 in 122 balls hitting 7 fours while Hamuna Vihari was batting on 18.

India had lost their third wicket with only 25 runs on board but opener Lokesh Rahul and Rahane steadied the innings adding 68 runs for the 4th wicket. Rahul fell to Roston Chase for 44. His opening partner Mayank Agarwal fell to fast bowler Kemar Roach for 5. Cheteswar Pujara also fell to Roach for 2. Captain Virat Kohli fell to fast bowler Shannon Gabriel for 9.
