Patna : Chasing a target of 238, India had scored 131/0 in 24 overs against Pakistan in their Asia Cup Super Four ODI contest at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai, on September 23, 2018, with Shikhar Dhawan batting on 75, his 26th ODI fifty,  and Rohit Sharma batting on 55, his 37th ODI fifty.

It was 13th century partnership for the first wicket between Dhawan and Rohit in ODIs. It was also their second hundred plus partnership for the first wicket against Pakistan. Pakistan, who won the toss and opted to bat, had scored 237/7 in 50 overs. India need 107 runs more to win the match.
