Muzaffarpur : Books worth over Rs 5 lakh and several important files were destroyed in a devastating fire which broke out in the building of L S College, Muzaffarpur, on December 12, 2017.

The VC, B R Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU), Muzaffarpur, Amrendra Yadav, said the reasons behind the fire would be inquired into. Principal, L S College, said that it appaers that the fire broke out due to short circuit though other aspects also would also be looked into. Student leader Munna Yadav has demanded a high level probe into the incident of fire. The fire tenders extinguished the fire.

It may be mentioned here that Vigilance Investigation Bureau is probing into different irregularities in L S College.
