IG, Patna, orders for removal of SHO, Jakkanpur PS, Patna

Patna : Zonal IG, Patna,  NH Khan on July 16, 2018, ordered for immediate removal of
SHO, Jakkanpur Police Station (PS), Patna, Ibrar Ahmad, taking serious note of an audio going viral in which he is allegedly demanding bribe from someone. Zonal IG Khan has also directed Patna SSP Manu Maharaaj to suspend Ahmad if he is found guilty in departmental inquiry.
After the audio went viral and complaints of discourteous beheviour of SHO, Jakkanpur PS, Ibrar Ahmad, with the people, Zonal IG had sought a report from City SP (central) within a week under the supervision of Range Zonal DIG. After receiving the report, IG Khan had directed Patna SSP
to immediately remove Ahmad besides initiating departmental actions against him.

IG Khan also gave cash rewards to seven urban SHOs and 12 SIs for their exemplary works.
