Human chain to be formed in all blocks of W Champaran

Bettiah: A  meeting was held at Bettiah, district headquarters of West Champaran on January 5, 2017, to discuss formation of human chain across the district to create awareness about prohibition on January 21. DM, West  Champaran, Lokesh Kumar Singh presided over the meeting.

A 450 km long human chain will formed from block the district level on January 21 and  for this preparations are on, the DM said adding all Block development officers (BDOs), Circle officers (COs), Manrega workers, Aanganwadi Sevika, Sahayeeka, government and private school teachers, public representatives, health workers, will be requested to co-operate in making human chain successful in the district. Human chain will be formed in all the 18 blocks in the district. DDC Brajesh Meena, District public relation officer cum OSD Sunil Kumar Verma, District supply officer Sanjay Kumar, District programme officer Motiur Rahman and other officials were directed to make the programme successful.
