Human chain formation damp squib in Bhojpur

Ara : The much hyped Human Chain formation against social evils dowry and child marriage proved a damp squib in Bhojpur district on January 21, 2018.

Despite all the efforts of Bhojpur district administration hardly one lakh people participated in the humain chain formation in the district amidst boycott by the contract teachers and the CPI(ML) and RJD workers. The human chain was not complete even at a single point. Bhojpur DM Sanjeev Kumar had earlier claimed that 14 lakh people would form 341 km long human chain in the 

The members of the Red Cross Society, Ara branch, Youth Hostel of India, Ara, Lok Jagriti Ara, Geeta Mahila Utthan Samiti, Ara Sadar Hospital employees formed human chain at different points.
