Sitamarhi : An SUV coming from Sitamarhi dashed a Homeguards Jawan Jitu Sah, 55, killing him on the spot at Kamaldah police check-post under Bathanaha police station (PS) in Sitamarhi District in North Bihar on Decemmber 28, 2020, early morning. Three other Homeguards jawans sustained injuries in the incident. They had signaled a speeding SUV to stop.
The SUV driver escaped taking advantage of dense fog leaving the vehicle behind. Bathanaha police have seized the vehicle. The police party at the Check-post had signaled to stop the speeding vehicle but that dashed Jitu Sah and three other Homeguards jawans. The deceased was a resident of village Jamunia under Sonbarsa block in Sitamarhi district.
