Heavy rains paralyses movement of trains on Ara – Sasaram section

Ara : Movement of trains remained paralysed between Ara-Sasaram as Rail track was submerged due to rain  between Gadhani-Piro railway stations at about 10pm on July 31, 2018. Due to heavy downpour, the rain water was flowing over the rail track on  Ara-Sasaram section. Around 10pm on July 31, the rail track was completely submerged near Dhyani Tola and Semrao villages paralysing the movement of trains.

Running of trains on Patna-Sasaram has been cancelled and Patna-Sasaram Intercity train is being run via Gaya. As a result, link between Ara and Sasaram was snapped till the time of reporting.
