Patna: Over 90 %of the 4,000 srong members of Patna High Court (PHC) Advocates Association cast their votes for electing 28 office-bearers of the association. Polling, which started at 10 on the lawn of the High Court premises concluded in the evening hours.

Eleven counters were set up for facilitating advocates to cast their votes. High Court administration had installed air coolers to provide comfort to the lawyers who were in the queue for long hours. Due to a full court reference to mourn the death of a senior lawyer Hare Krishna Kumar, court proceedings were adjourned after lunch hours.
Even on the polling day,personal contacts were made by the lawyers. Placards were displayed outside the booths by candidates who even put colourful posters on the vehicles parked on the court premises. Patna district Administration had deployed heavy police force .including women cops on the polling day.Counting will be done on Saturday morning
