HC summons all DMs, Civil Surgeons on Aug 26

Patna: A division bench of Patna high court comprising chief justice Iqbal Ahmad Ansari and Justice Chakradhari Sharan Singh while hearing a PIL regarding encroachment on campus of different hospital summoned all  Civil Surgeons and Dristrict Magistrates on August 26.

A social worker, Guddu Baba, has filed the PIL regarding encroachment in the hospitals across Bihar and High Court had taken cognizance of the matter. On Tuesday, the division bench asked the state government about the same. The state government informed the court that report has come from only six districts about the encroachment but no report has come from  rest of the districts. The report received is vague hence the court asked the state government to direct all the Civil Surgeons and District Magistrates to appear personally before it on August 26, 2016.
