HC grants anticipatory bail to IPS officer Pushkar Anand

Patna: A single bench of Patna high court presided by Justice Anjana Mishra on Thursday granted anticipatory bail to Pushkar Anand, IPS and Commandant MMP, Ara. A case was registered against the IPS officer Pushkar Anand by DySP Niramala Kumari alleging her sexual harassment. She is posted at Benipatti in Madhubani district, Bihar. The bail application of the petitioner was considered on medical report and the court has directed the petitioner to co-operate in trial and will not go abroad without the permission of court.
