New Delhi : Haryana Minister for Commerce & Industries Vipul Goel has donated an amount of Rs 2.58 crore for the funds to be utilized for public service.
Goel handed over two cheques to the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh here on October 13, 2018, as contribution of Rs 1.58 crore towards “Clean Ganga Fund” and Rs 1 crore towards “Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund” respectively. Appreciating the noble gesture, Dr Singh said that Vipul Goel has set an example for others to follow.
Dr Singh said while the “Clean Ganga Fund” is dedicated to the noble cause of cleaning River Ganga, the PM Relief Fund helps in offering timely aid to the poor, needy, sick and those affected by natural calamities, according to a PIB release.
