New Delhi : Union Minister for Science and Technology, Earth Sciences and Environment, Forest& Climate Change, Dr Harsh Vardhan on June 23, 2017, urged mediapersons to write extensively and regularly on innovations in the field of science and technology.
Inaugurating a workshop on “Role of Media in Dissemination of Scientific and Technological Advancements”, organised by Ministry of Science and Technology here, the Minister strongly urged the youngsters in the field of mass media to come forward and participate actively in popularising the innovative work being done in science and technology, according to a PIB release.
Dr Harsh Vardhan recalled and lauded the immense contribution of the press in making the nation ‘Polio-free’. The Minister also fondly recollected his long association with several veteran journalists present among the gathering.
