Harjot Kaur appointed Principal Secreary, Mines and Geology

Patna : The state government on February 24, 2017, transferred three senior IAS officers including Principal Secretary, Tourism, Harjot Kaur Bhamhara, an officer of 1992 batch. Harjot Kaur Bhamhara has been appointed Principal Secretary, Mines and Geology Department. She would also hold the additional charge of MD, Bihar State Mineral Development Corporation Limited until further order.

Pankaj Kumar, Secretary, Food and Consumer Protection Department, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Tourism, and MD, Bihar State Food and Civil Supplies  Corporation, Patna. Pankaj Kumar is an IAS officer of 1997 batch.

Umashankar Prasad, an IAS officer of 2006 batch and Director, Tourism, with additionl charge of MD, Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation, Patna, has been transferred and appointed Joint Secretary, Animal and Fishery Resources department. The General Administration Department (GAD) issued a notification to this effect on February 24.
