Ara : Government Railway Police (GRP), Ara, recovered two bodies from the railway track near Zamira Halt under Danapur Division of East Central Railways (ECR), Hajipur, on February 24, 2019, and brought them over to Sadar Hospital, Sra, for post-mortem.
As a result, Howrah-Amritsar Express Train remained stranded at Kulharia railway station for about half an hour. One of the deceased was identified as Arun Singh of Govindpur in Patna district while the identity of another deceased is yet to be established.
SHO, GRP, Ara, said that Arun Singh was a Class IV employee in Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara, and was coming from his sister’s house to Ara. He lived in a rented house in Katira locality under Nawada police station, Ara, in Bhojpur district.
